The Raio 1A is an advanced wireless device designed for robust data transmission over long distances. It features six serial ports—Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, UART1, UART2, and I-MCU—allowing versatile connectivity. The device utilizes NRF24L01 and LoRa LLC68 radio chips, operating at 1 watt, enabling reliable data exchange: NRF24L01 supports full duplex at 100 kbps for distances up to 5 km, while LoRa can transmit half duplex at 62 kbps over distances of up to 10 km.


Backed by the in-house Raio Tech Tab application, compatible with major operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS, Android, iOS), users can leverage features such as walkie-talkie functionality, secure chat, file transfers, and an advanced serial terminal. The app also supports integration with robotics and other long-range projects, providing a project space for microcontroller control.


The Raio 1A is compact, powered by a 6000 mAh battery, and includes GPS, magnetic, and gyroscopic sensors for position tracking. Additionally, it offers an SD card slot for data logging across all six ports, ensuring that users can capture and store data for later analysis. Whether for personal use or complex projects, the Raio 1A is designed for versatility and reliability in wireless communication.

RAIO 1A has six serial ports, one of it's six serial port is connected with I-MCU(RP2354A) UART0, this thing can be used to create cool projects with pico-2, which can further be share there sensor data to long distances via nrf24l01 and lora llc68 radio chipsets. PICO-2 projects can also be control via RAIO TECH LAB APP.

Serial Port Selection

Modes of Operation:


1. Matrix-Switching: Uses both radio chipsets, simultaneously, check out side diagram for better understanding.


2. Normal mode (uni-switching): Uses one radio chipset and one serial port at a time, bridging can be done as per side diagram.


3. Advance Bridging: In this mode, Bridges can be made in-between serial ports which can be useful in many scenarios, it's diagram will be public soon.
